When shampooing your hair, simply shampoo both the starter loc and relaxed ends, rinse, and then apply condtioner only to the relaxed portions, and rinse as normal. How can I set dry my hair if I have both locs and relaxed ends?
I personally love to use the RevAir tool to accomplish this. I insert both my starter locs and relaxed in the drying tube just as I normally would without the starter locs. My results are consistent each time, and do not interfere with the formation of my locs. What do I do at night?
Depending on what style I am going for the following day, I alternate between soft rollers for curls, two dutch braids corn rows for waves, and a high top bun for straight hair. You'll have dreads for days.

Before getting my locs I did tons of research and even bought a few books called Nice Dreads by Lonnice Bonner; Locs for Life by Kalimah Johnson and Hairlocking: Everything you need to know by Nekhena Evans these books were really helpful! I can't wait to cut the perm off! I'm excited about my dread journey. This will be my time trying dreads after big chopping twice now. Have you considered sisterlocks? As you get your legnth, you can cut the relaxed hair off in phases and then have the locs combined to make the thickness you desire. Thank you miasha! I considered sisterlocks but decided that getting them that small would be hell to touch up. I have started turning my twist into braids so that I can wash them.
The ends aren't as tight as they were but I'm hoping that it will naturally bond together. I wish i had the patience for sisterlocks though; they are sooooo beautiful! Thanks for the visual too btw ;.
